Hi Andreas, please login to you personal account to download updated version 1.6. This version contains fully working mechanism to save/load grid layout to XML.
To understand better how it works, we have added a buttons (load layout/save layout) to almost all the demo examples. Please check it.
Note, you can exclude XML dependencies by compiling the code with QTN_NOUSE_XML_MODULE define. In this case load/save layout engine will be unavailable.
Also, i ask you, if there are other comments or errors, send them to us and we will correct them as soon as possible.

is there still any development ... since 4 Month nothing new ?

no new version or new features ?

I thing there is a lot to do :-)
