- Introduction
Comes the new 2012 year. This year promises to be eventful in the Qt world and in the IT industry in a whole. For us next year should be the starting point for resolving a variety of technological problems which will allow to give our customers the best Qt/C++ solutions.
- Support and development of components for Qt
The next year we will extend the line of the components for Qt. In the near future will be added component for building the charts and diagrams and component implements XML/FastInfoset protocol.
We are considering the possibility to realize the charts in two editions. First edition - implementation for Qt/C++ - called QtitanChart. Second Edition - implementation of the charts for Adobe Flash and integration it to the Qt-based application by the component QtitanMultimedia - called QtitanFlashChart. At the moment the pre-alpha version implementation of the charts in native Qt/C++ is ready. Screenshots are presented below:

The release build of the component will be ready in the first half of 2012. The date for release Adobe Flash-based charts is not specified. In parallel, with the release of the charts, scheduled to be released component QtitanFastInfoset. The component implements a Sun standard FastInfoset for Qt and it has strategically value for writing fast and more efficiently exchanging mechanisms based on XML.
At the beginning of the second half of 2012 we will produce component for showing tree structures - QtitanTreeList. The component will be fully compatible with Qt models and in the one of the editions will be included in the supply of the QtitanDataGrid. The component will be interesting to have grouping feature for one of the chosen level of the tree structure.
Together with the release of new components we will give great attention to the development of existing solutions. Errors will be fixing and implementation a number of new features will be adding. In addition, will be adjusted production frequent updates to all products.
- Support for Delphi-Firemonkey
Our specialization is creating cross-platform applications and components. Not so long ago Embarcadero, has released a revolutionary framework for creating cross-platform applications for Delphi, called Firemonkey. This event was the reason for making strategic decision - all of our components will be ported to this engine. There will be two trends in the development, one for Qt, the second for Firemonkey. In priority will be implemented the following components for Firemonkey - FireRibbon (Microsoft Ribbon implementation for Firemonkey) and FireDataGrid (Advanced data grid for Firemonkey). In what follows will added support for analog components that will be creating in 2012 for Qt.
