QtitanDataGrid support trees

2 years 6 months ago #1 by Linlin
Hi there,

I can find your 2020 ~ 2021 plan in the website, and it said it's gonna support trees,TreeView and BandedTreeView, display and interaction with the tree data structure. And now it's approaching to the end of 2021, how's the status now? What's the release date for this major release?

Thanks,
lei

At the moment, the tree view has already been implemented. All features that table grid supports are in the tree view - fixing rows and columns, filters, printing, sorting, multi-sorting, cell embeding and etc.
Among other things, our tree view supports grouping, which is rarely found in other implementations. Grouping is operated for the top-level nodes. The product is currently being tested and minor bugs are fixing.
We will release the component update soon.

Here is a screenshot of tree from the Qt example https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtwidgets-itemviews-simpletreemodel-example.html loaded into the QtitanDataGrid tree view:

Is there some demo/beta if grid7 already available for the customers? Will it support qt5.15? (We still can not upgrade our solutions to qt6 due to lack of modules(QtLocation in my case) )

QtitanDataGrid 7 beta version is available for all customers in the personal account on our website. There you can download the source code and binaries for Qt5. For Qt6, you will have to build it manually.

Will it support qt5.15?

Absolutely. It supports Qt5 and Qt6.
