I'm using 6.8 LTS.

The last build you supported was QT 6.2 LTS.

So why no builds for 6.8?

Indeed, the beta version is shipped with Qt 6.9, but Qt 6.8 is fully supported, and you can build a version for Qt 6.8 from the source code.
